9/11 Memorial under attack...again!

Some people never learn.

Some time ago, I mentioned that the 9/11 Memorial to be built at Ground Zero was trying to be (for lack of a better or more appropriate term) hijacked by a "Blame America First" crowd. That went over about as well as a fart in church. Plans scrapped. Well, they went back to the drawing board. Hat tip to Kira for letting me know. Story:
A global network of human rights museums is urging the International Freedom Center to downplay America in its exhibits and programs at Ground Zero, the Daily News has learned.

The outrageous request is the latest controversy to torment the Freedom Center, whose leaders have tried to dispel the perception that it would be a home for America bashers.

"Don't feature America first," the IFC has been advised by the consortium of 14 "museums of conscience" that quietly has been consulting with the Freedom Center for the past two years over plans for the hallowed site. "Think internationally, where America is one of the many nations of the world."
Spoken like a true globalist, UN-loving, America-hating one-world-order type. In case you foreign ivory tower rose-colored-glasses types forgot, over 3,000 Americans were slaughtered at that spot! We wish to commemorate them, NOT open some stupid-ass social engineering leftist-feel-good kumbaya-singing center!

Hey, while we're at it, let's include a history of slavery, the Holocaust, and Rwandan genocide at the Memorial! True, none of those things have diddly to do with 9/11, but by God (insert nameless faceless deity here), they're all important, right?
