Surveillance?

From the AP:
The Guardian newspaper, citing unidentified British government sources, said that after the arrests a message was sent to Britain telling the plotters: "Do your attacks now." That message was intercepted and decoded earlier this week, The Guardian said.

A U.S. congressman briefed by intelligence officials, who did not want to be identified because of the sensitivity of the investigation, said U.S. intelligence had intercepted terrorist chatter.
No word as to whether we had a FISA warrant to obtain this intelligence. Boy, I sure hope so! If not, then those poor terrorists "South Asian young men" should be released and all pending charges dropped. At least, that's what our leftist brethren would have happen if they were in charge.

Also, from ABC News:
Intelligence officials tell ABC News the plot's trail leads to Pakistan's largest city, Karachi, where money for the plot was wired to London.
That must be that illegal privacy-invading SWIFT program responsible for this! Why, this is patently unfair!

Bushitler McRummyburton must be stopped! For those of you on the left, that was sarcasm.
