"Bloopers happen"

As more Dems are distancing themselves from Jean-François Heinz-Kerry (who is rumored to have served in Vietnam), the DNC chief offered a deep and insightful explanation to Sen. Ketchup's comments:

The head of the Democratic party also downplayed Kerry's remarks. "Kerry made a blooper. Bloopers happen," Howard Dean told reporters in Burlington, Vt.

If anyone can attest to that, it would be Dean. From "I suppose, perhaps, maybe, it's good that Saddam isn't raping and shredding people in woodchippers anymore" to "Rove is guilty as hell, but Osama is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law" to his primal scream after tanking in the Iowa caucus, it's pretty safe to say that Howie knows a thing or two about bloopers.

A "blooper", "uneducated", or soldiers with a sense of humor?
