Christmas is coming early this year!

Every time DNC chief Howard "Primal Scream" Dean opens his piehole, it's like a Christmas present coming early!

In recent weeks, Howie has mimicked a coke-snorting Rush Limbaugh (though Rush has never used nor was never addicted to cocaine), which was curious for a physician to do. He said Tom DeLay should be in jail (though he's been charged with nothing), yet has said we shouldn't prejudge Osama bin Laden! He said that Republicans "have never worked an honest day in their lives", which will come as a surprise to the 51% of Americans (and nearly 85% of rural America) who voted for Bush...who knew we had that many independently wealthy citizens here?!?

And now, he says that Republicans are nothing but "a bunch of white Christians", an intended-to-be-perjorative statement that displays his ingenious approach to reach out to red state voters. I guess when Dean (former governor of the whitest state in the union, VT) wants to "get our message out" to red state America, that means traveling to red states and insulting them on their own turf! He also forgot to mention the 40% Latino vote that Republicans received in 2004. For those of you in blue states, Latinos are non-white.

Oh, yeah...for chuckles, he added: "We're not going to stoop to the kind of divisiveness that the Republicans are doing." Huh? Then how do you explain the behavior and quotes above? Is this what constitutes "bringing people together"?

Dean's pathetic and anemic fundraising abilities thus far: Federal election reports show the DNC raised $18.6 million in the first quarter of 2005, vs. the RNC's $42.6 million. Dean drew about 20,000 new donors, while the GOP picked up 68,200. Republicans have $26.2 million in the bank vs. $7.2 million for the Dems.

Add all of these gems together: foot-in-mouth syndrome, pitiful fundraising, blatant aloofness and hypocrisy, damning sound bites, and willingness of Democrats to hide Dean like the Clinton staff hid mistresses (or like a UF football player hides a goat). It's no wonder that I am as giddy as a San Francisco male hair stylist at a Chippendales that this cretin is the mouthpiece of the DNC! While the kook base that makes up and now apparently runs the Democrats all adore this kind of speech, here's betting that this tiny sliver of American society will continue to be Kerry-founded as to why they keep losing national elections.
