What WMD? Oh, THOSE weapons!

Hat tip to a family friend who passed this along. From the AP:
U.N. satellite imagery experts have determined that material that could be used to make biological or chemical weapons and banned long-range missiles has been removed from 109 sites in Iraq, U.N. weapons inspectors said in a report obtained Thursday.
Oh...you mean the weapons that Iraq didn't have? The ones Bush "lied" about? Let me guess: "just because Iraq had the material to make WMD's doesn't mean that they did!" Right...and just because the urban youth with a mile-long rap sheet has a gun, ski mask, and sack of money (in an amount identical to that which was stolen from a nearby Hardee's) does not mean that said urban youth held up said Hardee's.

Continuing:
In the report to the U.N. Security Council, acting chief weapons inspector Demetrius Perricos said he's reached no conclusions about who removed the items or where they went. He said it could have been moved elsewhere in Iraq, sold as scrap, melted down or purchased.

He said the missing material can be used for legitimate purposes. "However, they can also be utilized for prohibited purposes if in a good state of repair."
Oh come on! I'm sure Saddam and the terrorists he harbored/sponsored had nothing but the best intentions with weapons-grade material!

Maybe Bush persuaded the UN to lie about the existence of this stuff? I mean, he's given credit/blame for pressuring Tony Blair, John Howard, etc., to "lie", right?

By the way, for all of the "outrage" that the world's appeasers had over our multinational invasion of Iraq, the only allied leader who suffered at the ballot box was Aznar...and he was leading comfortably in all polls until a terrorist attack scared the Spanish gazpacho-eating surrender monkeys to vote against him on Election Day. But I digress (again)...
