Today's "Damn that global warming" update

These days, we're getting treated to countless MSM stories about how the current heat waves are somehow evidence of global "warming"...although rumor has it that heat can also be attributed to that yearly phenomenon known as "summer"!

Anywho, how are the South Africans dealing with Bushitler McRummyburton's Kyoto-destroying apocalyptic weather device? From Yahoo! News:
Snow fell on South Africa's biggest city Johannesburg for the first time in 25 years as icy temperatures gripped vast swathes of the country, the weather office said.

"It (the snow) is by no means freakish but I would certainly classify it as rare," said Kevin Rae, assistant manager of forecasting at the South African Weather Service in Pretoria.

Forecasters said snow was reported in the southern Johannesburg township of Soweto and the posh northern suburb of Sandton, as well as the nearby towns of Carletonville and Westonaria.
Normally, the eco-nuts break out the term "climate change" during the winter time (since "global warming" doesn't sell well during a NY snowstorm), but in light of this South African snow, they may have to dust off the term a tad early this year.
