MSM's "Blame Bush" approach backfires...again

With the relentless MSM assault on Bush to score political points for their pals in the Democratic Party with regards to Hurricane Katrina, you would think that Bush would be seen by the electorate as being the most responsible for the problems in New Orleans.

Blame Game -- 13% said George W. Bush is "most responsible for the problems in New Orleans after the hurricane"; 18% said "federal agencies"; 25% said "state and local officials"; 38% said "no one is to blame"; 6% had no opinion. -- 29% said that "top officials in the federal agencies responsible for handling emergencies should be fired"; 63% said they should not; 8% had no opinion.

See, most Americans right now care about helping their fellow man in a time of great need. They're not particularly enamored with the idea that they should blame the president for things that were clearly beyond his control AND his duties. Blaming governmental response (federal, state, local) is definitely a different story, but direct blame on the Prez? Nah...sorry...try harder (and I'm confident they will).

Then again, what do the American people know? To leftists, they're just a bunch of ninnies, incapable of functioning without the liberal intelligensia to tell them what to think.

What do you wanna bet that the 13% who blame Bush the most are the same moonbat asshat 13% that think he stole the elections of 2000 (Florida) and 2004 (Ohio)?
