Kanye booed by "chowderheads"

I use the term "chowderhead" affectionately! :)

Kanye West, that brilliant political pundit who opined during an otherwise non-partisan Katrina fundraiser last week that "George Bush doesn't care about black people", was roundly and loudly booed during last night's Patroits vs. Raiders game. From Drudge via the Boston Globe:
The chart topping hip hop rapper star who used a network hurricane fundraiser to charge "George Bush doesn't care about black people" was loudly and lustily booed during last night's NFL kickoff show.

The appearance of Kanye West, who was beamed into the Boston stadium via remote from Los Angeles, received a strongly negative response from the crowd.

"The boos were thunderous and lasted for much of his number," reports the BOSTON GLOBE.

Oddly enough, the game was played in Boston...not exactly a haven of Bush supporters, one might say. One of the most liberal cities in America, and even they were repelled by West's race-baiting comments about the President.

So I salute the good people at the football game for their decency. While they may dislike Bush and/or his policies, they at least could smell political opportunism when they encountered the foul stench. Now if only they could go one better and use that same sniffer on that fat, womanizing, drunken murderer Ted Kennedy when he runs for re-election next year...
